REACH Walnut Hills is a collaborative effort between the Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority, the Hamilton County Land Reutilization Corporation, the Walnut Hills Redevelopment Foundation and the Community of Walnut Hills. We are excited to bring years of hard work into beautiful new and renovated homes in the community.
The Walnut Hills Community
Walnut Hills is located two miles northeast of downtown Cincinnati and is one of its oldest most diverse neighborhoods. It was founded in 1804 and is home to some of the city’s most historically significant architecture and cultural institutions. The architecture, much of which saw construction between 1880 and 1920, can be spotted throughout the neighborhood, including Italianate, Second Empire, Queen Anne Victorian, and more. While many of its structures are historic, the costs are affordable, further attracting new home and business owners. Today, the Walnut Hills community is experiencing rapid economic and residential development, thanks to investment both from within and outside the community. Growing interest is attracting many new residents and businesses.
